Role Overview:

The HVAC Install Manager provides leadership, coordination, supervision, and oversight of the performance of the company’s HVAC Install department. As an HVAC Install manager, you will exercise responsibility for developing and managing department operations within the department as well as guiding and instructing new and existing personnel. This individual will be responsible for overall effectiveness and profitability of the department(s).

 

Pay: Salaried, $78,000-$90,000+ Quarterly Bonus Potential

 

Role responsibilities:

• Manage and develop department towards set production, revenue, and gross profit goals.
• Lead and manage a team of up to 20 field installers including schedules, performance reviews, engagement, hiring, terminations, safety and efficiency, etc.
• Apply expert knowledge of light commercial and residential equipment, components, wiring, and installation.
• Ensure best-in-class service delivery by enhancing workflows, optimize dispatching, and drive customer satisfaction.
• Assess employee capabilities, providing ongoing coaching and training to support professional growth and performance.
• Monitor and evaluate work quality and outcomes to ensure adherence to established standards and expectations.
• Establish and communicate clear work standards and behavioral expectations to maintain high employee morale and productivity.
• Effectively delegate tasks, track progress, and follow up to ensure successful execution and desired results.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work culture by promoting collaboration, mutual support, and shared accountability.
• Maintain a consistent, professional demeanor with all external and internal customers, coworkers, employees, subcontractors, etc.

 

Required Experience:

 

• 5 or more years of HVAC service leadership or supervisory experience
• 4 or more years of commercial or residential HVAC experience

• Valid Drivers license with a clean driving record
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.)
• Proven knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.

Preferred Experience:

• Intermediate knowledge/use of industry standard software (I.E Service Titan, or other related systems)
