Job Description

The Manager of Advanced Standing DMD Admissions oversees admissions, recruitment, enrollment, and pre-matriculation activities for the DMD Advanced Standing program. The role manages the admissions cycle, develops recruitment strategies, analyzes enrollment data, supports international students, and collaborates with faculty and university partners to achieve enrollment goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full admissions cycle, including application review, interviews, applicant communications, decisions, and enrollment.
  • Coordinate interviews, Visit Days, information sessions, and prospective student outreach.
  • Develop recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified and diverse applicants; represent GSDM at recruiting events and professional conferences.
  • Serve as GSDM liaison to ADEA/CAAPID and participate in Admissions Committee activities.
  • Guide admitted students through enrollment and pre-matriculation requirements, including deposits, documentation, withdrawals, and deferrals.
  • Coordinate with Financial Aid, Student Affairs, Housing, and International Student & Scholar Services to support student transition and international enrollment.
  • Review international documentation and advise students on visa and immigration requirements.
  • Track and analyze applications, enrollment, and yield data; prepare reports and provide insights to support strategic enrollment planning.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications on admissions materials, campaigns, and Slate communications.


Required Skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience, preferably in higher education admissions, recruitment, student affairs, or advising.
  • Experience supporting diverse and/or international student populations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant/student information systems.
  • Proficiency with Slate Technologies (strongly preferred)
  • Experience with international admissions
  • Familiarity with CAAPID, AADSAS, PASS, WebAdMIT, or similar admissions platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.

Work Environment

This position works in a fast-paced academic environment with frequent interaction with applicants, students, faculty, and administrators. Travel for recruiting events and professional meetings may be required approximately 2–3 times per year.
