Manager, Strategy & Planning

Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and strategic professional to join our Strategy & Planning team. This role will support key business initiatives, strategic planning, and cross-functional projects focused on identifying growth opportunities, improving business performance, and driving organizational effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, along with an understanding of business operations, market dynamics, consumer trends, and competitive landscapes. Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), beauty, personal care, product development, or related industries is a plus.

This position requires the ability to think strategically, work collaboratively across departments, and translate business insights into actionable recommendations that support the company''s short- and long-term objectives.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Business Analysis

• Support the development and execution of short- and long-term business strategies, plans, and initiatives.
• Conduct business performance analysis, market research, competitive benchmarking, and industry trend assessments to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges.
• Analyze business, financial, and operational data to support strategic recommendations and management decision-making.
• Assist in evaluating new business opportunities, product categories, market expansion, and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare reports, business cases, and presentations for senior management.

Market Intelligence & Business Development

• Monitor consumer behavior, emerging market trends, industry developments, and competitive activities.
• Support the evaluation of product innovation, category development, brand positioning, and go-to-market opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess commercial opportunities and potential business impact.
• Translate consumer insights, market intelligence, and business data into actionable recommendations.

Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Manage and support strategic projects involving multiple business divisions and functional teams.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, and other departments to align business priorities and initiatives.
• Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, milestones, and stakeholder communications.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment and execution of key business initiatives.

Business Planning & Performance Management

• Support annual business planning, performance reviews, forecasting, and resource planning activities.
• Assist in establishing, tracking, and evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) and business objectives.
• Monitor progress against strategic priorities and recommend improvements or adjustments as needed.
• Provide analytical and operational support for business planning and management reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Management, or a related field. MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
• Relevant experience in strategic planning, business analysis, corporate strategy, product development, category management, marketing strategy, business operations, project management, or related functions.
• Experience in CPG, FMCG, beauty, cosmetics, personal care, retail, or consumer-focused industries is preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to interpret business data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business reporting and analytical tools.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with product development, innovation, commercialization, or go-to-market processes.
• Experience in market research, consumer insights, competitive intelligence, or trend analysis.
• Understanding of retail, e-commerce, brand strategy, or product portfolio management.
• Experience supporting business transformation, operational improvements, or cross-functional strategic initiatives.
• Ability to combine quantitative analysis with qualitative insights to support business decisions.

The anticipated compensation range is

69,000.00 - 137,000.00 USD Annual

Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, education, experience, and location. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
