Tax Manager
Prestigious San Francisco CPA firm seeks a Tax Manager who is energetic, motivated and looking for opportunities for Partner level advancement in a challenging and rewarding work environment.

Our firm has nine partners and a total professional staff of over 60. Our client base includes a variety of closely-held small businesses, high-net worth individuals and fiduciary entities.

Responsibilities

• General business and tax advisory role for clients. Heavy client contact and consultative approach
• Tax review: Individual, corporate and partnership returns, some multi-state returns and non-profit
• Research tax and reporting issues to ensure proper presentation and disclosure
• Maintain excellent relations with each of the partners, assisting them in meeting commitments to clients
• Opportunity to develop your own client relationships
• Identify and deliver additional small-business consulting services as needed
• Identify opportunities for additional client services and firm growth

Desired Background

• Minimum of six years in public accounting taxation
• Partnership tax expertise
• Real Estate industry experience a plus
• Big 4 or national firm experience preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to interface with multiple client engagements
• Solid understanding and experience in accounting skills
• Current CPA License
