You would need to bring: - Extensive NC Family Law attorney experience;
- JD from accredited law school;
- Litigation and trial experience;
- Active North Carolina Bar license;
- Ability to manage associate attorneys;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
- Compassionate, client-focused work ethic; and
- Ownership mindset and drive to succeed.
Responsibilities - Lead family law cases from intake to trial or resolution: divorce, custody, support, alimony, and paternity.
- Litigate family law cases from inception to settlement or trial.
- Meet divorce clients with empathy and strong advocacy.
- Develop strategic case approaches through thorough research and analysis.
- Draft legal pleadings, motions, briefs, and court documents.
- Explain complex legal issues and support clients throughout their domestic relations case.
- Advocate for clients in family law court, mediations, and depositions.
- Negotiate and finalize settlements.
- Stay abreast of family law statutes and case law.
- Collaborate with a dedicated, supportive legal team.
- Consistently deliver results and meet deadlines, communicating case statuses to the partnership on a regular basis.

Compensation Base salary $140,000 - 170,000, plus bonus and incentive opportunity and future leadership of an expanding office. Complete and total back office support and proven marketing system provided. A comprehensive benefits package and retirement plan are offered.
