The Managing Director develops client relationships, generates revenue and leads M&A engagements, while overseeing transaction execution and mentoring the banking team. Responsibilities
Originate business through networking, client development and internal referrals.
Lead buy side and sell side transactions.
Oversee financial analysis, valuation and due diligence.
Guide negotiations and review transaction documentation.
Manage client relationships throughout the transaction.
Supervise VPs, associates and analysts.
Identify opportunities before and after closing.
Qualifications
At least ten years in investment banking or a related corporate finance field.
Middle market banking experience preferred.
Experience leading banking teams.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
MBA required in the published advertisement.
Series 63 and either Series 7 or 79, or active pursuit of licensing.
Strong modeling, communication, organization and client management skills.
