## Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to meet the company's manufacturing needs.

• Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to secure favorable terms.

• Monitor inventory levels and forecast material requirements to prevent shortages.

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to understand material specifications and requirements.

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.

• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and pricing fluctuations.

• Resolve any issues related to supplier performance or material quality.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and efficiency.

  Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport with suppliers.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
