We bring you tomorrows opportunity today.Volt is immediately hiring Manufacturing Assembler in Winooski VT.As a Manufacturing Assembler you will Assemble precision instruments components and subassemblies using work instructions and assembly drawings Read and interpret mechanical prints and bills of materials BOMs Perform assembly measuring testing and product verification activities Conduct routine testing and inspections to ensure quality and performance standards are met Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs as needed Support material handling activities including receiving storing and moving materials Maintain production records and documentation Enter and retrieve information in ERP and manufacturing systems Follow safety quality and Lean Manufacturing standards Work collaboratively to meet production and quality goalsThis is a fulltime contract opportunity.ScheduleDay Shift Only Flexible start times between 600 AM and 830 AM Flexible work schedules available including four 9-hour days with a 4-hour FridayThe ideal candidate will haveRequired Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma GED or equivalent 1-3 years of manufacturing production assembly or industrial experience Experience reading mechanical prints and bills of materials Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications Ability to follow written work instructions and procedures Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and dependabilityPreferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with instrument assembly electromechanical assembly testing inspection or repair Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and blueprints Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles Experience with quality inspection processes and manufacturing documentation Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPay Rate 21.59 - 23.59 per hour.Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.Qualified candidates shouldAPPLY NOWfor immediate consideration Please hit APPLY to provide the required information and we will be back in touch as soon as possible.Benefits Volt offers benefits based on eligibility that include the following health dental vision term life short term disability AD&D 401k Sick time and other types of paid leaves as required by law Employee Assistance Program EAP.Voltis an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
