Manufacturing Assembly Technicians

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking dependable and motivated Manufacturing Assembly Technicians for long-term opportunities with a manufacturing company in Vancouver, WA. We have three openings on day shift and one opening on graveyard shift. These positions involve a combination of mechanical assembly and sheet metal forming to support the production of industrial equipment. The ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and eager to learn new skills. Previous manufacturing experience is helpful, but we are willing to train individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.

Pay: $20–$25/hour DOE

Shift: Day Shift (3 openings) and Graveyard Shift (1 opening)

Manufacturing Assembly Technician Responsibilities:

• Assemble industrial equipment, including fan assemblies, powder collection units, heaters, and related mechanical components.

• Use hand and power tools, including drills, impact drivers, grinders, riveters, and torque tools.

• Set up, operate, and monitor sheet metal forming equipment and press brakes following established procedures.

• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, assembly drawings, and basic measurements.

• Measure, align, fit, fasten, and adjust components to meet production and quality standards.

• Inspect finished parts and assemblies using tape measures, squares, calipers, and other measuring tools.

• Identify defective materials, incorrect components, and quality issues and communicate concerns to supervisors.

• Safely move and stage materials using carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other approved equipment.

• Perform basic machine cleaning, inspections, and preventive maintenance as trained.

• Maintain accurate production records and follow established safety procedures.

• Work collaboratively with fabrication, assembly, and production teams to meet daily production goals.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Manufacturing Assembly Technician Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and punctuality are essential.

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and interest in long-term employment.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand and power tools.

• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and contribute to a team environment.

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements accurately.

• Previous manufacturing, mechanical assembly, fabrication, or machine operation experience preferred but not required.

• Blueprint reading experience is a plus.

• Forklift or material-handling experience is helpful.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

• Ability to work safely in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
