    Description

    Manufacturing Asset Care Operations Manager

Our focus: Quality that never wavers. Safety that’s built into every decision. Equipment that performs when it counts.

    Your impact

    • Coordinate all mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair to maximize uptime and product quality.
    • Embed safety as a standard—enforce policies and elevate safe work practices across the maintenance team.
    • Co-create preventive maintenance strategies and schedule machine rebuilds without compromising production commitments.
    • Drive reliability—recommend and implement improvements to methods, tooling, and processes.
    • Lead people and culture: hire, mentor, set expectations, coach performance, manage discipline, and develop technical capability.
    • Manage vendor and contractor partnerships to solve problems quickly and cost-effectively.
    • Support capital investments and continuous improvement initiatives that advance the plant’s objectives.
    • Own annual budgeting for maintenance, tracking spend and forecasting needs.
    • Administer facilities maintenance so utilities, building systems, and grounds operate to standard.

    Qualifications

    • BS in Engineering; Mechanical or Electrical emphasis preferred.
    • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
    • 5+ years of hands-on industrial equipment maintenance.
    • 3+ years in a supervisory/lead capacity over maintenance personnel.
    • Strong communicator; confident using everyday computer applications and maintenance-related systems.
    • Experience with industrial production equipment strongly preferred.

    What success looks like

    • Safety first: Near-miss reporting is routine, and compliance is consistent.
    • Uptime protected: PM completion rates are high; unplanned downtime trends down.
    • Team engaged: Clear roles, regular coaching, and skills training in motion.
    • Costs controlled: Budget is on plan; parts and contractor usage are optimized.
    • Partnerships strong: Vendors and internal stakeholders collaborate seamlessly.

    Why join

Own a critical function where your decisions are visible and valued. Influence how the plant runs today and how it evolves tomorrow. If you’re ready to elevate reliability and lead a capable team, we’d love to connect.
