Your impact Coordinate all mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair to maximize uptime and product quality. Embed safety as a standard—enforce policies and elevate safe work practices across the maintenance team. Co-create preventive maintenance strategies and schedule machine rebuilds without compromising production commitments. Drive reliability—recommend and implement improvements to methods, tooling, and processes. Lead people and culture: hire, mentor, set expectations, coach performance, manage discipline, and develop technical capability. Manage vendor and contractor partnerships to solve problems quickly and cost-effectively. Support capital investments and continuous improvement initiatives that advance the plant’s objectives. Own annual budgeting for maintenance, tracking spend and forecasting needs. Administer facilities maintenance so utilities, building systems, and grounds operate to standard. Qualifications BS in Engineering; Mechanical or Electrical emphasis preferred. 5+ years in a manufacturing environment. 5+ years of hands-on industrial equipment maintenance. 3+ years in a supervisory/lead capacity over maintenance personnel. Strong communicator; confident using everyday computer applications and maintenance-related systems. Experience with industrial production equipment strongly preferred.
