Job Title: Manufacturing Associate II, Upstream Operations (3rd Shift)
Location: Pennington, NJ
Shift: 3rd Shift, 10pm-6am M-F
Pay: $26.00-$32.00/hr + $3.00/hr Shift Differential
Industry: Global Biopharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) and Biosimilar Developer

Position Overview

Support upstream biopharmaceutical manufacturing in a cGMP cleanroom environment. Responsibilities include cell culture, bioreactor operations, harvest processing, in-process testing, troubleshooting, and mentoring junior associates.

Qualifications

• Experience with mammalian cell culture and upstream processing
• Bioreactor operations experience
• Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and lift up to 25 lbs

• Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with 3-5 years of experience; OR
• High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform media/buffer preparation, cell culture, seed train, bioreactor, harvest, and filtration activities
• Monitor processes and operate analytical equipment (Cedex, BGA, Osmometer, pH/conductivity meters)
• Maintain GMP documentation and support investigations
• Perform aseptic operations in cleanroom environments
• Train Associate I team members and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with SOP updates, technology transfers, and manufacturing readiness

Work Environment: cGMP cleanroom with required PPE.
