Position: Manufacturing Associate
Location: Lenexa, KS 66215
Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Onsite
Shift: 2nd Shift - 02:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Summary
As a Manufacturing Associate, you will perform manufacturing and production activities by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instruction Documents. Responsibilities include assembly, materials handling, equipment operation, and finished goods packaging while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
- Follow established SOPs, work instructions, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Execute production schedules and meet daily production targets.
- Handle materials, perform assembly operations, and package finished goods according to established procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain accurate production records and report discrepancies.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and compliant manufacturing environment.
- Follow cleanroom procedures and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and gowning attire.
- Comply with cleanroom restrictions, including prohibitions on makeup, jewelry, nail polish, cologne, perfume, scented lotions, and hair care products.

- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- No previous work experience is required.
- Previous experience in GMP manufacturing, operations, production, a laboratory setting, or a related field is preferred.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established safety protocols.
- Should be comfortable wearing safety shoes / steel toe shoes.
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate instructions in English.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and production reporting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to wear required PPE and full cleanroom gowning attire, including gloves, hair and beard nets, face covers, and safety glasses.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment while following applicable safety and hygiene requirements.
