Manufacturing Associates

Position Summary
Manufacturing associates needed for a manufacturing facility in Gallipolis, Ohio. Duties will include performing sub and final assembly, completing general labor, providing quality products while identifying and correcting issues as needed, and additional duties as assigned.

These are full-time, temporary, first shift positions, starting ASAP. For those with stand-out performance and dependability, permanent hire can be considered after a 90-day introductory period. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 6 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and Friday, 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Overtime is occasionally mandatory. Starting pay is $13.50 per hour, any hours over 40 are paid at $20.25 per hour. If hired on permanently, this company offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• lift and manipulate up to 25 to 35 lbs
• be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• be able to push loaded carts
• be able to distinguish colors and determine acceptable noise levels when testing products to ensure quality
• be able to read and write proficiently and have effective communication skills
• prior experience in manufacturing is a plus, as well as prior forklift operation.
• must be able to pass a drug screen
• high school diploma or equivalent required.
