Manufacturing Customer Service Representative Position Overview
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing a high level of enthusiastic, detail-oriented customer service to customers and internal departments across the Thunderbird portfolio.
Manufacturing Customer Service Representative Essential Functions
Reviews customer orders for feasibility and accuracy.
Processes customer orders and issues work orders to manufacturing.
Controls materials and parts inventory to assure items are on hand as needed by manufacturing.
Responds to customer requests for information regarding order status.
Prepares Invoices for outgoing shipments.
Notifies customers of shipments if required by contract.
Handles majority of communication between Customers, Cost Estimating and Manufacturing.
Backs up Receptionist as needed.
Backs up Shipping as needed, preparing Packing Slips and BOL's.
Assists with other office administrative duties as needed, to include but not limited to mail, scanning and filing.
Performs other duties that may be assigned.
Manufacturing Customer Service Representative Required Experience
Ability to draft reports and correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and subcontractors.
Ability to use computer software such as word processing and spreadsheets.
Attention to detail and time management skills are essential.
Manufacturing Customer Service Representative Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position requires you to be onsite daily.
This position is primarily in an office environment.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite. +
Ability to establish trust, credibility, and rapport at all levels of the organization; seen as humble, direct, and authentic while possessing professional presence.
