Manufacturing / Distribution Segment Leader

We are seeking an experienced Segment Leader to join our corporate underwriting team. This role is responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership support to the field underwriting team focused on the manufacturing and distribution sectors. The leader will play a key role in guiding underwriting strategies and ensuring alignment with overall corporate goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support underwriting efforts for the manufacturing and distribution segment.
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to underwriting teams in the field.
• Develop and implement strategies that enhance risk assessment and underwriting effectiveness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to ensure consistent application of underwriting guidelines.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes affecting the industry segment.
• Drive continuous improvement in underwriting processes and tools.
• Report to senior leadership and contribute to corporate underwriting initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within underwriting or risk management, preferably in manufacturing and distribution sectors.
• Strong technical underwriting knowledge and analytical skills.
