Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for an experienced Manufacturing Driver to be based out of Harvey, IL approximately 30 miles south of Downtown Chicago. The job will be 3rd shift jobs (11pm-7am ), M-F, occasional Saturdays. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this person will be responsible for moving and storing large bundles of steel tube in the manufacturing department.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience driving a Forklift and Combi-lift experience moving large loads. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

What you'll do:

• Be proficient with sit down forklift and combi-lift (side loader).
• Transport, store and stack all materials in accordance with proper inventory control procedures.
• Operate a handheld scanner and utilize a variety of printed work instructions as part of daily work assignment.

What you'll bring:

• Experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Forklift and Combi-lift (side loader) experience.
• Ability to pass the post offer employment process with drug screen.

Within 3 months, youll:

• Show progress and/or complete job specific training.
• Be well-versed in Atkores Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.
• Gain a basic understanding of required duties and job expectations.
