Description

Position: Manufacturing Engineer

Compensation: $70,000 (based on experience)


Job Overview:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes and procedures to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that align with company goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems

- Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement

- Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production processes

- Monitor and analyze production data to identify and address any issues

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)

- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

- Participate in new product development projects and provide input on design for manufacturability

- Train and mentor production staff on new processes and procedures

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology

- Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the manufacturing process


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems

- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

- Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong project management skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
