Manufacturing Engineer

Burnsville MN

Contract - 1st Shift, 5/40

Pay Rate: $44.84/Hr.

Required Qualifications: Manufacturing Engineer

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Position Summary: Manufacturing Engineer

• Support production of sensors within the Engines and Space product portfólio.
• Apply engineering knowledge to solve complex manufacturing problems.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, production leaders, maintenance, purchasing, quality, production operators, design engineers, and program management.
• Work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities: Manufacturing Engineer

• Support production operators and technicians through fixture design and work instructions.
• Design fixtures using CAD software.
• Create engineering drawings and release documentation for fixtures.
• Develop fixtures primarily used for welding and brazing operations.
• Become proficient with SAP, Creo, and Teamcenter.
• Adapt machine and equipment designs to standard factory and production procedures.
• Provide engineering guidance on design concepts and specification requirements.
• Document and report work accurately.

Preferred Qualifications: Manufacturing Engineer

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and support teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency with CREO or other CAD modeling software.
• Strong work ethic and bias for action.
• Willingness to learn.
• Adaptability and ability to learn quickly in a changing environment.
