Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes for fabricated and machined components
• Create process routers and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Estimate manufacturing labor, material, and production costs
• Utilize SolidWorks and 3D CAD software to support manufacturing processes
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and engineering changes
• Create flat patterns and machine-ready files for lasers, turret punches, and press brakes
• Collaborate with sales, customers, vendors, and production teams to ensure manufacturability
• Identify production bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement engineering solutions
• Support scheduling, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication and machining environments
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Experience developing manufacturing processes, routers, and BOMs
• Strong understanding of fabrication equipment such as lasers, press brakes, and turret punches
• Experience estimating manufacturing costs and production times preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred but equivalent experience will be considered
