Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Duration: 6 month contract to hire Pay Rate: $34.00 per hour (W2) Location: Houston, TX 77041
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Welding Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience with welding and machining Minimum 2 years of experience with AutoCAD and engineering 3D modeling software (for example, SolidWorks) Minimum 2 years of experience with LEAN principles (Standard Work, 6S, Visual Management) Proven experience in facility layout, material flow design, and process optimization Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, including weld symbols and GD&T Ability to read and understand WPSs and PQRs Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
