Manufacturing Engineer I -2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
  

• Design machine and equipment layouts to ensure efficient and productive plant operations.
  

• Define sequences of operations and specify procedures affecting product performance.
  

• Adapt machine and equipment designs to meet factory and production conditions.
  

• Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans when applicable.
  

• Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify performance and efficiency.
  

• Investigate process deficiencies and initiate corrective actions to ensure product quality.
  

• Develop manufacturing processes compatible with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies.
  

• Provide engineering guidance related to design concepts and manufacturing specifications.
  

• Ensure all processes and procedures comply with applicable regulatory and quality standards.

Requirements

Technical Skills

Must Have

• Engineering experience in a medical device manufacturing environment
  

• Experience supporting production/manufacturing operations
  

• Strong problem-solving skills
  

Nice to Have

• Applied Yellow or Green Belt certification
  

• Validation experience
