Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer II will support machining, sheet metal, tooling, and manufacturing processes. This role focuses on developing and improving processes, equipment, and engineering solutions to meet safety, quality, cost, and production goals.
Key Responsibilities
· Analyze manufacturing requirements and define processes, machinery, tooling, and equipment needed for production.
· Design and continuously improve manufacturing processes to achieve cost and quality objectives.
· Develop engineering solutions and coordinate feasibility testing and validation.
· Develop, apply, and evaluate engineering standards and specifications.
· Inspect engineering work, equipment, and installations and recommend corrective actions.
· Identify process and system issues and implement improvements through change management.
· Coordinate engineering activities with suppliers, subcontractors, and external partners.
· Support product development by analyzing customer needs and providing appropriate manufacturing solutions.
· Manage assigned engineering activities according to project plans, schedules, and goals.
· Provide technical support and guidance on engineering and knowledge-management systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications
· Experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably involving machining, sheet metal, tooling, equipment, or related processes.
· Ability to develop, implement, test, and improve engineering designs and manufacturing solutions.
· Experience preparing and applying technical engineering specifications.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage work within project schedules.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Knowledge of safe work systems, regulations, policies, and risk-management practices.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with production teams, suppliers, contractors, and engineering groups.

· Experience designing or improving machining, sheet metal, tooling, or manufacturing processes.
· Proven ability to diagnose operational problems and implement practical solutions.

Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
· Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience may be considered.
