Manufacturing Engineer Lead | Extrusion

• Act as the primary interface between Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure designs are efficiently and effectively translated into production.
• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
• Identify and execute process improvement initiatives that reduce waste, improve throughput, and optimize production performance.
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes by evaluating manufacturability and production readiness.
• Analyze production data and key performance metrics to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, manufacturing documentation, process standards, and best practices.
• Support tooling, fixturing, capital equipment, and manufacturing technology initiatives.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects aimed at improving quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles throughout the organization.

Serve as a critical link between Engineering and Manufacturing OperationsProven track record of process improvement and operational optimization.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production methods, tooling, machining, fabrication, assembly, or industrial operations.
• Experience working cross-functionally with both engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Proven track record of process improvement and operational optimization.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or related methodologies preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across multiple functions.
