Summary: 

• Develops and implements manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling.

• Drives adoption of new technologies and processes including automation, robotics, and computer aided manufacturing software.

• Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environments to optimize manufacturing processes and digital work instructions.

• Defines operations procedures and build sequences using understanding of materials and automatic processes.

• Evaluates performance of equipment and tools including IoT devices and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies.

• Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions.

• Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

• Drives robust Corrective Actions and Root Cause and Corrective Action.

• Works with electro-mechanical assemblies.

• Supports PR/MRB process.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college.

• At least 3 years of experience driving robust Corrective Actions and Root Cause and Corrective Action.

• At least 5 years of experience with electro-mechanical assemblies.

• At least 3 years of experience with PR/MRB process.

• PR/QMRB certification preferred.

• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.

• Experience with SAP, Apriso, and Windchill.

• Experience with lean manufacturing and quality optimization in a production environment.

• Experience with visual based work instructions including creating and providing feedback.
