In this position...
Lead the specification, procurement, build, installation and launch of Powertrain Production equipment related to package attach / reflow soldering of powertrain power electronics components.

What you'll do...
Lead the specification, procurement, build, installation and launch of Powertrain Production equipment related to package attach / reflow soldering of powertrain power electronics components.
Develop and deliver standardized processes and equipment in line with global powertrain strategies.
Develop and implement manufacturing process associated with package attach / reflow soldering of power electronics.
Support all inspection processes (cross sectioning, pull tests, etc.)
Collaborate with Product Engineering to achieve a working Product design that meets Manufacturing Design Specifications for package attach / reflow soldering with feasible expectations in the Engineering Specification (ES).
Support the Prototype Engineering/Pilot Manufacturing process to determine feasible manufacturing solutions and methodology during the early stages of new programs.
Troubleshoot production issues impacting FTT and warranty, determine corrective actions to the part, processes and/or equipment.
Travel to suppliers facilities and Ford Manufacturing plants will be required (10-30%)
