Manufacturing Engineer

Position Overview

My client a growing manufacturer of advanced composite components and tooling for the aerospace and defense industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. This role focuses on improving manufacturing processes, reducing waste, enhancing product quality, and transitioning new products from development into production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and manufacturability.

• Develop, test, and implement engineering solutions from concept through production.

• Build prototypes, analyze failures, and resolve manufacturing issues.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Project Management, suppliers, and customers.

• Identify process inefficiencies and implement strategies to reduce waste and defects.

• Support product demonstrations, installations, and production launches as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

• 3–5 years of engineering experience, preferably in composite manufacturing.

• Proficiency in SolidWorks, PDM, and Microsoft Office.

• Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.

• Knowledge of continuous improvement methods and tools.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with
  production teams.
