As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Leading process improvements on the manufacturing floor
Determining root cause analysis of issues and implementing solutions
Supporting operations, maintenance and quality assurance
Managing projects
Identifying cost savings
Mentoring team members
Developing and implementing work instructions and other documentation
Evaluating equipment issues
To be considered for the Manufacturing Engineer, you must have:
A BS degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or similar
At least 3 years of previous hands-on manufacturing engineering experience
Experience with Lean, continuous improvements and/or Six Sigma
Desire to be on the manufacturing floor, not behind a desk all day and be mechanically inclined
Strong problem-solving skills
The ability to work independently and with a team
Initiative to own process improvement efforts
