Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, an Agriculture Products company, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for their Thibodaux, LA location.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and/or assistance to Manufacturing Engineering. Support at this level typically involves performing basic and routine tasks using existing procedures for process control and documentation.
• Maintains a safe work environment
• Updates the processes and routings for manufactured parts
• Documents work instructions for manufacturing parts
• Records data in SAP
• Supports key departmental and organizational directives
• Accomplishes quality and organizational mission by performing other duties as needed
• Communicates easily and effectively with individuals and teams including cross functional teams
• Supports Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Maintains 5S (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) standards

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 or more years' experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read, interpret and understand prints and specifications
• Ability to perform basic computer functions
