Job Description:
Our team manufactures life-changing medical devices with a relentless commitment to precision, safety, and innovation. As a CNC/Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in crafting components that support surgeons, heal patients, and raise the standard of care.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or Swiss machines for high-precision medical components
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and tight-tolerance specs in compliance with FDA and ISO standards
Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and optical comparators
Maintain strict documentation and traceability for all parts manufactured
Collaborate with quality control, engineering, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance
Execute minor machine edits and offsets to maintain product consistency
Support continuous improvement efforts in a cleanroom or controlled environment setting
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in CNC machining, preferably in medical or aerospace manufacturing
Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
Experience working with stainless steel, titanium, and plastics (like PEEK or Ultem)
Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA CFR Part 820, or other regulated manufacturing environments a plus
Detail-oriented, documentation-driven mindset
Familiarity with inspection tools and cleanroom protocol
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification highly preferred
