Our Opportunity

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician - III to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the Manufacturing Engineering group through coordinating and performing pre-production part build activities and equipment trials, and overseeing the prototype warehouse.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities

• Participates in activities required to build prototype and pre-production sample parts.
• Assists with confirmation trials of assembly equipment.
• Provides technical support for equipment installation, set-up, and troubleshooting.
• Organizes and maintains an inventory of components and equipment needed for prototype builds.
• Prepares, summarizes, and reports trial data for manufacturing and engineering groups.
• Supervises and coordinates the work of hourly and temporary personnel in the prototype area.

The salary range for this position is $56,200 - $77,100 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled.

Requirements

Your Background

High School diploma or GED, plus 5 years of technical work experience in assembly process in a manufacturing facility.

Associates Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology, and Experience in the following areas is preferred:

• Machine set-up
• PLC and robotic programming
• Hot plate, vibration, and sonic welding
• Forward and signal lighting assembly practices
