What You''ll Do

The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a PCB Manufacturing environment.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform projects that require mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
• Relocate equipment and services for manufacturing equipment.
• Repair, replace walls and other related items for incoming new equipment.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Support process engineering on improvement projects. Install "new" equipment for increased capacity or replacement.
• Support facility cost reduction / security / improvement projects.

What You''ll Bring

• Minimum 2-4 years of related experience in a production facility (prefer Printed Circuit Board shop background).
• Must have strong knowledge of electrical systems for installations and repairs.
• Knowledge of electronics and PLC controls.
• Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Prior work experience with manufacturing equipment in the field of chemical process systems, CNC mechanical systems and general facility utilities such as compressors, chillers and boilers.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced production environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 50 lbs.
• Must have good writing, reading and verbal communication skills.

At Sanmina, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $43,680.00 and $54,080.00 and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
