Position Summary:The Manufacturing Inspector is responsible for verifying conformity of products to internal and customer specification. They may provide feedback to machine operators and help aid in process improvements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Inspect products to blue prints, specification, and work instructionsPerform hand checks of products with a variety of measurement devicesSetup and run CMM inspection machines and programsComplete inspection reports and review process control plansFollow managements system process for control of non-conforming productCommunicate with Manufacturing Operators and Engineers on non-conformities and aid in determining improvementsCommunicate with all internal inspection staff members to determine and review product conformityAdhere to Management System policies, practices, and proceduresSubmit change requestsSolve problems and provide technical guidance and training to staff as requiredContinuously learn and interpret GD&TMaintain Geater Values (Teamwork, Respect, Initiative, Pride)Qualifications:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. There will be time spent in the manufacturing environment. This setting involves manufacturing equipment with others working in close proximity.
