Manufacturing Machine Operator Mixing & Blending
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday Thursday | 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
Staffworks is currently hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Machine Operator for a local manufacturing company. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity for someone interested in machine operation, production, mixing, and blending.
The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to follow production instructions and safety procedures. Manufacturing or machine operating experience is a plus!
Job Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor industrial mixing, blending, and production equipment.
- Measure and weigh raw materials and ingredients according to production recipes and work orders.
- Monitor mixing and heating processes, making adjustments to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Operate equipment such as industrial mixers, blenders, and ovens.
- Follow production schedules, batch instructions, and manufacturing procedures.
- Record batch numbers, ingredient quantities, production information, and finished product weights.
- Collect product samples and perform basic quality control checks.
- Inspect equipment and perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Report equipment malfunctions, leaks, spills, and safety concerns to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Required Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operating experience preferred.
- Basic math skills, including measuring, weighing, and calculating quantities.
- General understanding of manufacturing materials and chemicals.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and proper PPE.
- Ability to read and understand English.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.
