In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting with subsequent corrective actions, complete preventive maintenance, required modifications, on all production related equipment. Schedule:

3rd Shift: M-F 10pm-6:30am

Duties

• Perform, trouble-shoot, perform corrective and preventive maintenance on all mechanical, electrical/electronic and pneumatic production related equipment.
• Use problem solving tools to identify root cause for repetitive breakdowns or other losses.
• Support production flow, collaborate across departments, and ensure full compliance with plant policies and safety standards.
• Support production maintenance and engineering in the installation, adjustment, fabrication or modification of machinery as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
• Move, relocate and perform setup of production equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience working in a production/operations facility.
• Must have experience as a mechanic in a Manufacturing or Packaging Facility. Electrical knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to use all type of tools which include but are not limited to: small hand tools, hand held drill motors and similar hand held electric and pneumatic power tools, precision measurement tools, milling and combination drilling presses, grinders and hydraulic/manual presses.
• Basic knowledge of PLC logic and electrical problem solving.
• Ability to understand interaction of equipment systems and diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems.
