Manufacturing Operations Technician 1st Shift

Pay Rate: $26.45 $30.30 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Schedule Flexibility: Must be able to start up to 1 hour early or stay up to 1 hour late as needed.

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operations Technician to support daily manufacturing operations, facility maintenance, shipping and receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment, and the ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, and inventory control.

• Perform basic facility maintenance and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.

• Troubleshoot minor equipment and facility issues and coordinate repairs with internal teams or external service providers.

• Support equipment moves, workspace setups, and general shop operations.

• Monitor and replenish shop supplies, including PPE, tools, maintenance materials, and consumables.

• Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP or similar systems.

• Follow 5S workplace organization standards to ensure clean, safe, and efficient operations.

• Maintain waste disposal, recycling, and environmental compliance records.

• Conduct routine safety equipment inspections and follow established safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent experience.

• 3 5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, facility maintenance, or shipping and receiving.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic equipment troubleshooting skills.

• Experience using hand tools and power tools.

• Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory management systems preferred.

• Forklift or other material-handling equipment experience is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.

• Flexibility to adjust work hours by approximately 1 hour as operational needs require.

• Must successfully complete required background screening, drug screening, and education verification.
