Summary
Seeking a highly detail-oriented Packaging & Labeling Technician I to join the Packaging team. This role supports both Label Room and Packaging operations, ensuring products are accurately labeled, packaged, documented, and prepared according to quality and regulatory standards. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Process work orders and assemble, label, and package products according to established procedures.
- Print and verify labels, batch records, and production documents with a high level of accuracy.
- Operate packaging and labeling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Perform quality checks and assist with in-process and finished goods inspections.
- Maintain an organized work area and follow ISO, safety, and quality requirements.
- Cross-train and support other Packaging and Label Room operations as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Packaging, labeling, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical experience preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right the first time.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow written procedures and accurately complete production documentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
