As an internco-op with Cleveland-Cliffs you will build life-long professional connections and have the opportunity to be considered for future full-time employment.As a Manufacturing Planning Analyst Intern at Cleveland-Cliffs the projects assigned will vary based on the interns education level and plant location but will generally reflect the duties outlined below.Summary of Responsibilities Building production schedules to support customer delivery expectationsManagement of WIP inventoriesWork closely with Sales Operations management and accounting in the planningscheduling of operating units and expediting of customer ordersUtilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio to find retrieve filter and validate dataPopulate and issue standard dailyweeklymonthly reportingProvide analysis from various aspects of the operation that can take extreme detail and create a story with themes that clearly show issues and required actionsSupport the monthly and annual production forecast planning processAutomate work currently done manually in Excel and utilize the task scheduler application to maintain existing automated reportsSupport the company-wide delivery improvement initiativeVarious other duties as needed to support the businessMinimum QualificationsEnrollment in Bachelor of Science program in the field of Supply Chain Business or another Business-related fieldCompletion of sophomore year of study by the summer of 2027Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Cleveland-Cliffs is a leading North America-based steel producer with focus on value-added sheet products particularly for the automotive industry.
