Engineering Role in Food Manufacturing
Our client is a growing food manufacturing organization investing heavily in facility modernization, equipment upgrades, and operational excellence. Job Description
- Improve manufacturing processes and plant performance
- Lead equipment installations, startups, and commissioning projects
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues
- Support preventative maintenance initiatives and reliability programs
- Partner with maintenance and outside vendors on repairs and upgrades
- Maintain technical documentation and equipment records
- Support CMMS implementation and maintenance planning
- Train maintenance personnel on equipment and procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Work cross-functionally with Operations, Production, and Quality teams

The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of Plant Engineering experience with an engineering degree OR 8-10+ years of related industrial maintenance/engineering experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, controls, conveyors, and HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret PLC ladder logic
- Project management experience within manufacturing environments
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
