OBJECTIVE:
Development of systems, processes, machines, and tools for produc on of SMT and PTH Electronic
Assemblies
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Aid in the design Manufacturing Processes for new products.
Work with product design team on DFM recommenda ons and support of prototypes.
Responsible for efficient produc on and driving con nuous improvements.
Determine root causes of failures using sta s cal methods and recommend changes in design, tolerance,
or processing methods.
Provide technical exper se or support related to manufacturing.
Troubleshoot new and exis ng manufacturing problems involving design, materials, or processes.
Monitor processes and equipment for poten al risks/hazards to employees.
This posi on reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with SMT and PTH equipment to include component Prep, SPI, component placement,
reflow, AOI, and Wave/Selec ve Soldering.
Analy cal and crea ve thinker.
Lean Manufacturing and 5S experience will be a plus.
Good communica on skills.
A en on to detail.
Knowledge of Microso L Office applica ons and Autocad.
