Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and drive performance across safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement initiatives. This role will oversee production team members, coordinate workflow activities, and help ensure operational goals are achieved in an efficient and safe manner.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading production personnel, managing operational priorities, and supporting continuous improvement efforts within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop production team members to achieve operational objectives
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability and engagement
• Manage daily production activities to ensure schedules and performance targets are met
• Monitor workflow and allocate resources to maintain efficiency and productivity
• Promote a strong safety culture through training, coaching, and adherence to safety standards
• Identify and address operational challenges while implementing corrective actions as needed
• Support quality initiatives and help maintain product and process standards
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and effective communication
• Collaborate with maintenance, materials, logistics, and other support functions to minimize disruptions
• Monitor attendance, staffing levels, and workforce planning needs
• Assist with onboarding, training, performance management, and employee development activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and operational excellence
• Support leadership with recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and manufacturing experience
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a production, operations, or manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Experience managing production schedules, workflow, and operational priorities
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities
• Strong communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Proficiency with manufacturing systems and standard business software preferred
