Manufacturing Production Supervisor III

Production Supervisor III responsible for coordinating manufacturing and warehouse functions within a large, complex, fast-paced production facility to drive maximum financial results and deliver quality, on-time product for customers. Shifts available: 1st (6:00 AM-2:30 PM), 2nd (2:00 PM-10:30 PM), 3rd (10:00 PM-6:30 AM) - candidate should specify shift preference. Days of the week TBD (schedule in development); associates may be required to work at least one weekend day. Possibility of extension and conversion to full-time employment. Candidates will undergo a panel interview.

• Develop, monitor, and ensure timely completion of plant goals/action plans (short and long term)
• Utilize new technology and lean manufacturing principles/processes to maximize efficiency
• Promote development of cost-saving initiatives
• Develop a work environment promoting trust, teamwork, quality, and safety
• Ensure production of quality product in compliance with Safeway, Federal, and State guidelines
• Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, etc.)

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a production environment
• 1+ years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles
