Ultimate Staffing is partnering with a manufacturing client to identify an experienced Project Manager to lead customer programs from quote through production. This role is responsible for driving profitability, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring customer expectations are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Own customer programs to ensure satisfaction, profitability, and long-term business growth, has experience overseeing multiple customer programs at a time

Maintain full P&L responsibility, including pricing strategy and cost control

Accurately cost and price products using internal and external suppliers to maximize margins

Lead and coordinate new project launches with customers and internal stakeholders

Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Accounting to ensure accurate quoting, routing, and quality compliance

Manage projects using established project management processes to ensure on-time, efficient execution

Coordinate direct reports and cross-department resources to support project and company objectives

Maintain and control all project documentation, including drawings, pricing history, sales files, and quality requirements

Requirements:

• Education/Experience:
• Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the skills required for success will be considered. Typical qualifications include:
  • 5+ Years in a Sr Production Role or Project Manager overseeing multiple manufacturing projects in a machine shop environment
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university

Knowledge Requirements

• Solid understanding of manufacturing principles and practices
• Working knowledge of Sales, Marketing, and Project Management
• Ability to read and interpret component drawings and tolerance schemes
• General knowledge of tubular steel part production is highly preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities
• Proficiency with computers, spreadsheets, and numerical analysis
• CAD experience is a plus

Work Environment

• Onsite role in a manufacturing environment
• Monday-Friday schedule
