Ensure that established procedures, verifications and validations are being followed for production quality, state and federal guidelines.
Leads and supports internal and external audits.
Maintains quality and food safety records.
Performs records review and follow up on variances.
Utilizes root cause analysis to resolve food safety and quality variances.
Provides supervision of QA Staff in scheduling and daily activities.
Provides back up where needed for QA Coordinator and Laboratory.
Trains and instructs employees in quality and food safety standards and processes.
