Manufacturing QA Technician I (Clackamas, OR)

A fast-paced, safety-first dairy processing plant is hiring a Manufacturing QA Technician I in Clackamas. You will ensure the quality and safety of products by inspecting raw materials, monitoring production and performing tests to verify compliance. This assignment covers a leave of absence and may be extended.

• Contract assignment, 90 days with possible extension
• Work setting: onsite
• Openings: 1
• Anticipated start: immediate start

• Conduct quality checks on incoming raw materials and finished milk products
• Inspect production processes for compliance with safety and quality standards
• Monitor and document equipment calibration and maintenance
• Work with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly
• Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures
• Take part in internal audits and assist with external audits
• Record and analyze data and prepare quality metric reports
• Help develop and carry out quality improvement initiatives

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and regulations
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Flexibility to work the specified shift, including Saturday and overtime

• 1 to 2 years of quality assurance experience in food production
• Additional relevant certifications
• HACCP or food safety training
• Experience with sampling and inspection procedures
• Experience with internal and external audits

• Shift runs Sunday through Wednesday and Saturday
• Assignment may be extended; covers a leave of absence

• Pay: $26.00 to $27.00 per hour
