Wage: $18.89+ per hour based on experience upon hire.

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team in the turbine generator component factory. Our factory in Fort Payne, Alabama has been producing high-quality electrical components for the world for the past 37 years. You can expect to work with teammates in a safe, comfortable, climate-controlled environment to manufacture parts for large generators. This role is perfect for individuals with strong hands-on skills who take pride in their craftsmanship and are committed to producing top-quality products!

How You Make An Impact

• Perform hands-on assembly, fabrication, and assembly of turbine generator components.
• Utilize various hand tools and machinery to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints to ensure precision in manufacturing.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products to meet specifications and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

What You Bring

• High school diploma/GED that can be verified; technical training or certification in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.
• A strong safety and quality mindset is a must.
• Any hands-on experience in a manufacturing or assembly role, preferably in the energy sector, is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications or the ability to learn.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
