Northrop Grumman is looking for a Electromechanical Technician 3 to support the Subassembly Manufacturing Assembly Resource and Test Lab (SMART Lab) assembling and testing propulsion systems.

Responsibilities:

• Working lab priority work orders as determined by leadership
• Mechanically and electrically assemble and test propulsion thrusters
• Mechanically and electrically assemble propulsion subsystems

Basic Qualifications for Electromechanical Technician 3:

• High school degree or equivalent and 7 years' related experience.
• Basic knowledge of hand-tool use and safety
• Mechanical and electrical precision assembly
• Understanding drawings, work orders, and test procedures

Preferred Qualifications for Electromechanical Technician 3:

• Orbital welding
• Hand TIG welding
• Pneumatic and Vacuum set up and test
• Electrical functional set up and test
• Sheet metal fabrication
