Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for packaging completed products, stacking assembly parts and packing materials, and supporting manufacturing operations in a safe and efficient environment.
Job Description
- Package completed products for shipment
- Stack and organize assembly parts and packing materials
- Perform technical and production duties within electronic, mechanical, or systems manufacturing areas
- Complete tests, measurements, operations, and process control activities
- Follow work instructions, job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers, and bills of material
- Maintain production tools and equipment
- Troubleshoot and assist with diagnosing and repairing product, process, or program defects
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Manufacturing System principles and tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Skills Required
- No experience required; previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is helpful
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Responsible and dependable work ethic
- Punctual and reliable attendance
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
- Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to read blueprints and identify components
- Experience with wire preparation, stripping, crimping, harness repair, and termination
- Familiarity with electronics, hydraulics, mechanical assemblies, automated machine operation, or programming
- Forklift certification (preferred but not required)
Education
- Required: Highschool diploma or GED
Additional requirements
- Shift: Standard 7am to 4pm with OT required when needed
Pay rate
- $25 - $30 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
