Manufacturing Technician$23-$28 an Hour DOE - 1st shift 7am-4:30pm M-Thurs. Fri. 7am-11am
Clearwater, Florida 33762
Reports to: Engineering Manager
JOB DESCRIPTIONEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport manufacturing operations:
- Understand operator challenges
- Participate in manufacturing process execution
- Root cause determination
- Design innovative solutions through process, tooling and technology
- Support training efforts
Solve problems by partnering with team:
- Consult with other engineers and tech experts
- Instigate vendor relations about new technologies
- Collaborate with machining experts
- Contribute to design reviews
- Contribute to risk assessments
Establish new manufacturing operations:
- Build engineering prototypes
- Build low volume products
- Establish build processes and work instructions
- Design and develop tooling
Contribute to verification and validation practices:
- Specify product requirements
- Establish verification and validation plans
- Execute tests on product
- Ensure that process execution is in accordance with plan & documentation
Qualifications / Requirements- 2-year degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Proficient at reading and understanding mechanical drawings.
- Proficient understanding of and ability to accurately use measuring instruments.
- Proficient communication skills.
- Prefer SolidWorks.
- Must have keen attention to detail and quality.
Desired Qualifications- 3 to 5 years of professional experience.
- SolidWorks experience preferred.
- Related military experience.
