Manufacturing Technician

PGS Worldwide is seeking Manufacturing Technicians in Hanover, Maryland for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will build, process, and test assemblies and subassemblies while following detailed manufacturing procedures and engineering documentation.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of additional education and/or related experience.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures, drawings, prints, diagrams, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to identify and communicate manufacturing nonconformances.
• Ability to safely handle hazardous materials in accordance with established procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Experience using mechanical hand tools.
• Manufacturing, assembly, or production experience.

What You’ll Do

• Build, process, and test assemblies and subassemblies.
• Follow established manufacturing processes and work instructions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Perform basic measurements and inspections.
• Identify and communicate nonconforming material or workmanship.
• Safely handle materials in accordance with OSHA and manufacturing requirements.
• Support production activities as needed.

Pay

• $29.75 per hour.
