Pay Range: $28 - $31/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:- Execute manufacturing processes under supervision, adhering to batch records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulations.
- Ensure right-the-first-time performance for all process steps and promote a safety-first culture.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT), Facilities and Engineering (F&E), and Quality departments during GMP runs.
- Perform weighing of raw materials and electronic inventory transactions using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Business System (EBS).
- Conduct cell culture and filling unit operations for viral vector products in a cGMP environment, employing proper aseptic techniques and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Maintain mammalian cell culture in flasks, CellSTACK chambers, and single-use bioreactor systems.
- Assist with the transfection of cells and the harvest of viral vectors, as well as the manual and/or automated filling of harvested materials.
- Escalate processing and equipment issues as necessary and assist in the revision of SOPs and Manufacturing Production Records (MPRs).
- Review in-process cGMP documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Work effectively in an inclusive, cross-functional, team-based environment and be available for off-shift hours and weekends.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or laboratory setting.
- Strong understanding of cGMP regulations and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Business System (EBS).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Nice to have: Experience with viral vector manufacturing processes and cell culture techniques.
